The Medilead Healthcare Panel (MHP), which Medilead has been acquiring annually since 2018, provides comprehensive disease information and offers valuable insights to companies involved in healthcare marketing. MHP covers a wide range of information, including potential patients, treatment trends, and health care system utilization, to help professionals and decision makers formulate precise strategies.

Access to data to expand research possibilities

In conducting research, access to external data is important for generating new discoveries and findings. However, research data is diverse and voluminous, and it is not always easy to understand its whereabouts and contents. In addition, sharing and utilizing research data involves issues such as data quality and management, rights and ethics.

IRB approval allows for use in clinical trials, epidemiological studies, and thesis writing

As a cohort study, MHP is conducted with IRB (Ethics Review Board) approval. Since IRB review is often required for epidemiological studies and thesis writing, you can use this database with confidence.

Customized data analysis for deeper insights

MHP adds depth to your research with its wealth of medical data and flexible data processing capabilities. Easily extract data on specific diseases and conditions. Customize data to suit individual research requirements and enable more precise analysis.

Data on over 700 symptoms and diseases for new discoveries

Investigates more than 700 symptoms and diseases to enable broader utilization in a wider range of areas. We support diverse academic projects ranging from epidemiological studies to clinical trials. In addition, follow-up surveys of respondents enable deeper insights to be obtained, as well as analysis of socially significant data, many of which are not included in large-scale databases such as electronic medical record information and receipt data (e.g., attribute information such as annual income and information related to quality of life).

In depth survey of patients and caregivers has been conducted

It is one of the largest health care databases in Japan that collects information on symptoms at the disease and unwellness level. It consists of the following three types.
(1)Large-scale survey on disease information of general consumers (General Field)
(2) An in-depth survey on the diseases that most affect the lives of those who are in and out of the hospital due to some symptoms or diseases (Patients Field)
(3)An in-depth survey of caregivers whose family members have some symptoms or diseases (Care Field)
